skin care routine!
Every morning:
1 Wash face with oil controlling cleanser. Right now I'm using Castille soap. (dr bronner's)
2 Use toner in a spray bottle for ease of use
3 add any serums for acne, aging etc. I use benzoil peroxide, or a prescription cream to prevent blemishes. Salicylic acid is very drying. Always apply lighter products first and heavier or thicker ones last. Wait 30 seconds between applying each so they get a chance to soak in.
4 Moisturize,,,, A LOT and don't forget some spf if its not in your moisturizer.
Different products work for different people, but you shouldn't forget any of these esscential steps to perfect skin
Every night before bed
repeat step one
now apply nightly treatments... I make a paste of water and baking soda and leave it on my skin for 5-10 minutes to banish blackheads and redness, and if I have time I do a treatment for moisture. (like a mask bought or homeade)
I like to leave mine on when Im in the bath tub!!
now follow with two, three and four!
also exfoliate twice a week. you can use gritty or chemical exfoliants.
My favorite is Juice Beauty's Green Apple Peel.It really shows after only one use.

Impulse buys
This came for free with a purchase. I tried it. It makes my eyelids tingle in an unpleasant way and does literally NOTHING as far as appearance goes. You can't tell it's there. I don't reccomend it.
This was great ... for the first couple uses. The tip looses its shape quickly. I was so impressed with its initial awesomeness, that I bought a second one only to have the same problem again. :C I'll try some other felt-tip liners to see if I can find the one.
This is fun!! I wore it only on my bottom lashes, and I think it's fantastic. I got it on clearance at Ulta for five dollars a long time ago, and its fun for a random splurge.
I've never tried the regular big fatty by urban decay, but this has me interested.
I really rarely wear blush, but I will say I like this stuff. (: I apply it with CLEAN fingers.

I love wearing orange shadow with my blue eyes. This stuff is kind of hard to apply, but it inspired me to wear more orange! The yellow is hard to use :c The color just does not look good on my pale skin.

I was given the "Meet Matte" palette as a gift. I don't really like it. :( It works okay I just don't like the colors and they're messy to apply.
Urban Decay afterglow cheek tint is another fun blush. I only wear blush for fun. I don't really see how it "enhances" my beauty. It just gives you a certain look. I go for fun blushes because I rarely use them! Also apply with fingers
I'm still getting used to it, but it may become part of my routine!
Make-Up routine
After daily skincare junk, these are the things I use if i choose to wear make-up ;)
I honestly think these lower-price alternatives are just as good as high-end makeup for regular use. (this is the order I put them on)

FIT me by maybelline. This is the best foundation I've ever tried.
Target has the lowest price I've seen for it. I have dry skin, so it's difficult for me to even wear foundation with out looking crackley, but this suits my face better than anything else I've used. I'm not a tools girl, so I put a few dots of this on each part of my face (forehead, cheek, tip of nose, cheek, chin) and gently apply it with my fingertips in a patting sort of motion. You want it to remain on the surface of your skin.

I am NOT a Covergirl fan persay, but this is my favorite concealer. This does its job. I will probably never convert to another product. I apply it in an upside-down triangle under each eye, at the corners of the nose, and on any blemishes. I first dot it on then pat it on with my fingertips.

This is my MUST HAVE splurge. I will not wear eyeshadow or liner without it. I haven't tried any other high-end shadow primers because they don't have as good of a price, but I've tried a couple drug store primers and threw them away! Also pat this onto the eyelids with finger tips don't rub or smear!!

I'm not a bronzer girl, so this is the only powder I use. It's fantastic, and if I were you I would buy the elf one. It's just as good as the much, much MUCH pricier duplicates. I use any fluffy brush. I don't believe it matters for basic makeup application.

As far as eye shadows go... I like to splurge on urban decay shadows. I'm currently loving Cherry Bomb. by ulta I don't think a girl should buy the same eyeshadow twice though! This is something that goes along with the phrase, "variety is the spice of life"
This stuff. I've tried many mascaras, but always come back to this. If you need anything "better" than this , you might as well wear false lashes because this is the best of the best. (: Some of the expensive fancy ones can match it, but the fact that this is so much cheaper obviously makes it a winner!!
This stuff. (lash extension) has a very similar look to the maybelline, but is about three times the price. The only upside to this is you can fall asleep in this stuff and it still looks good when you wake up!!!

I rarely wear lip color, but when I do, its usually lipbalm like Baby Lips!!
